However, the work has been stopped due to rainy season for two months. Due to the intervention of MD-UPJN and DM Jhansi on 01-09-2026 work re-started. The completion date will be finalised during the meeting called by DM Jhansi on 23-09-2026.

Thereafter, a joint site inspection was carried out by the Chief Engineer (CE), UPJN, and CE, PWD. It was mutually agreed that the pipeline-laying work would be carried out by PWD under the supervision of UPJN and the firm. Accordingly, PWD started the work on 01.05.2026. However, the work was stopped due to the rainy season and was not resumed thereafter. Following the intervention of the MD sir - UPJN (R), the DM - Jhansi, convened a meeting with both departments, and the work was resumed on 01.09.2026. The work is currently in progress. The completion date will be finalized during the meeting convened by the DM, Jhansi, on 23.09.2026.

The completion date will be finalized during the meeting convened by the DM, Jhansi, on 23.09.2026.In this meeting DM has directed to PWD remaining works would be completed as soon as possible.In complaince PWD stated that the remaining works will take 1 month for complaince .

After the intervention of the ACS Sir, a joint meeting of both departments was conducted by the DM, Jhansi. 3. Thereafter, a joint site inspection was carried out by the Chief Engineer (CE), UPJN, and CE, PWD. 4. It was mutually agreed that the pipeline-laying work would be carried out by PWD under the supervision of UPJN and the firm. 5. Accordingly, PWD started the work on 01.05.2026. 6. The work was stopped due to the rainy season and was not resumed thereafter. 7. Following the intervention of the MD sir - UPJN (R), the DM - Jhansi, convened a meeting with both departments, and the work was resumed on 01.09.2026. But, once again stopped by PWD from 20.09.2026. 8. In the meeting convened by the DM, Jhansi, on 23.09.2026, DM directed PWD to complete remaining works immediately. PWD stated that the remaining works will be completed by 15.10.2026. 9. However, thereafter, the work has not been resumed and no work is in progress at present.
